v Redditch

Obviously frustrating but the run had to end sometime. Following it on Twitter I'm not surprised we lost as it appeared it was all Redditch, maybe not with lots on target but nearly every tweet it was their possession! They're certainly becoming our bogey team but being positive we're letting in less goals against them every time.

Yes, I'll have to go for the 0-0 the next time we play them   :D

Redditch were a good team and were very fast and mobile all over the pitch. We did very well to stay with them and Dan Hicks was especially impressive. They missed chances but we had a couple of efforts that narrowly missed the post as we threw everything at them in the final 20 minutes. In the end we could possibly consider ourselves a bit unfortunate.

Not something I would usually do but I thought the referee was poor and very inconsistent. More than once waved away some robust challenges on Slough players then seconds later awarded free kicks for barely any contact to Redditch players.

I thought we tried hard and made it difficult for them to make their possession count. Improved towards the end of the first half.

Second half I thought we improved further but seemed too keen to pump it up to Charlie, yes he won most headers but we hardly ever got the second ball.

Thought that a couple of players were off their game but most tried.

Whilst not a win I went home reasonably happy with the performance.

On to Saturday, and get back to winning ways
