staines_rebel_Jr
Away to Marlow on Tuesday 10th November according to league website
GlenSTFC
Without being over confident that's definitely a winnable game if we want it enough. How many rounds are there in this cup and I guess there's no prize money at all?
HorshamRebel
Looking around on Google, it looks like only the winner gets some prize money
Neil Baker
I understand that there is 2k to the winner and £500 for the runner up, they did that to try and get clubs to take it more serious I believe.
SloughFlyer
Will take that draw given some of the long away trips we could of had. Marlow struggling in the south and west, but I'm sure will give us a decent game. Hopefully we will pick a decent side as opposed to the very poor one we had against Burnham and can try and give this and the trophy a decent run whilst not letting it effect our league form. Winning breeds winning, as we have seen in the past few weeks.
GlenSTFC
You would hope even with a weakened team as per v Burnham we should have enough to get a win, as long as they treat it seriously and are committed.

SloughFlyer
Ah, that certainly makes more sense from a sometimes non-sensical league Neil. I was worried at one point we might get Poole away or something silly like that.
Stuntman Mark
Marvelous, I've missed going to Marlow.
Reading Rebel
I hope we get a strong Ref after our last so called friendly against Marlow.
Sloughboy
I wouldn't have said the side picked against burnham was a very poor one that's been mentioned above... I would have said it was relatively strong in my opinion
GlenSTFC
Not poor but obviously wasn't full strength, which i guess would be similar against Marlow.
Sloughboy
Trouble is we need to keep the subs fresh for when they are needed, yes Neil and Jon send lads out for games but I am not great fan of that, far prefer they play for us when chance cones and that cup is ideal for a few changes! Let's be honest if they are good enough for sub for us they must be seen as good enough to start or come on in a southern prem game? So a few changes is surely right? Yes if we get latter stages different but early couple of rounds it's a no brainer isn't it?
GlenSTFC
I agree the league and county cups are ideal squad rotation games, are are perfect opportunities for the non regular players to shine and push for a starting place. If we got nearer the final of either cup then yes naturally you'd add more strength in the hope of winning it.
