Looks like you've got a Council takeover rather similar to the London Mayor election result !!

I don't understand the connection you are making JR. The council elections held in Slough on Thursday were for, on the 3 year rotational basis employed, 14 seats out of 43. Labour held 11 seats and gained 1 from the Conservatives and the Conservatives held 2 and lost 1 to Labour. Labour hence maintained their overall control of the Council with an increased majority of 1 seat. At the Labour AGM the following day the Leadership and Deputy Leadership of the party/council were then changed by vote. So no Council takeover.

Pretty sure he was alluding to an internal takeover in the local Labour party Swindlehurst and Anderson are both members of a small ethnic group and thats the way things go nowadays.

Exactly the point I was making without being accused of being racist, which I am NOT.

In my working days, I often had to visit Slough and I am fully aware of the ethnic diversity.
