New ground

Would the club see any car parking income? Remember we're just tenants like we were at SYCOB and look at what income we received there. Not to say it'll be exactly the same situation but the council will naturally looking to recoup their outlay so aren't going to be overly generous with the club.

From the company who are installing the stands website, they build blocks of stands which each fit 50 people. Hopefully we will get a couple of blocks at each end. Each block has between 4-6 tiers so there won't be huge elevation but there will be enough to hopefully give good views onto the pitch. The stands will be made of metal.

There will also be 250 seats on one of the sides of the ground.

Ah Maidenhead, been there, seen it, sat in it (the new stand) - impressed! When I visited our site yesterday it was difficult to see anything much. There were a lot of materials piled up, presumably for Stadium Solutions and I could see that the pitch fence surround was in place.

Wasn't the 250 seats going to be attached to the main stand as per the artists impression?

From the latest photos there doesn't appear to be enough room to put a stand but the photos taken from distance can be deceptive.

I'm not sure but I think the white reels blocking the view could be the 3G surface.

they will be in the second phase I believe, with 250 seats going over the other side initially.

Yes the 250 seats opposite the main stand will be temporary and necessary for the grading until the main stand (with seats) is built. Not been told but hopefully the cover behind both goals will cover a few hundred at least each.

Yes I'd guess the seats will be taken out and it'll become a covered terrace. These types of stands don't take long to assemble so hopefully we'll see images of them all up in a week or so (still disappointed we're not getting proper concrete terracing with roofs but understand savings may have had to be made).

Why are we not getting concrete terracing with roofs? The isometrics clearly show roofs on the stands in phase 1 and indicates terracing in front. I would imagine the structural steelwork will be in the form of simple L-frames with roof cladding. As I noted in an earlier post when concerns were being expressed regarding progress the terracing could easily be provided using precast elements; I do not have access to the drawings but this would this would be a programming solution. The Morgan Sindall Company Newsletter 04/05/16 reports the good progress on phase 1 and gives written  details of this and phase 2. For phase 1 this includes "covered stands and terracing" within the description.

I'm sure the clubs' official Twitter account will post the images later for those who follow them but the stands are being erected today and behind both goals will have covered (metal) terracing for 870 fans with 6 shallow steps. There will also be a 250 seat covered stand opposite the (phase 2) main stand. I think (although not official) this 250 seater stand will revert to terracing once the main stand opens.
