New ground

I don't know Rob or his 'style' but he's a journalist and it's to be expected for stories to get ramped up. But there's obviously a delay but I'm sure I'm not the only fan hoping it's nothing to worry about and in a months time we'll see activity on site and see our new home rise from the ground.

The one thing you can guarantee in the whole new ground situation is that Rob Stevens will stir the crap whenever possible.

He seems a bit  better than whoever the Observer had covering us before but I'm inclined to agree and will wait until I hear something from the club or the council before throwing any toys out of prams.

I walked past the site last week and saw three or four blokes in suits wandering around with clipboards. I was going to ask them

what they were doing but as I started to approach them they hurried away. I seem to have that effect on people.

MPR,they don't know what they are missing out on ! ha ha ha !

That does seem very odd and unprofessional, why would they run away? Just politely say we can't answer your questions! Maybe they weren't suppose to be there? Really hope the club or council can release a statement soon to reassure us fans? Is it that much to ask to be given a definite start date is it?

Where the local council and contractors are concerned, they will only ever release a statement when it is 'convenient'  for them to do so.

The Council could take a leaf out of our Managers approach by informing us what the situation is.

Also the Journalist would do us a bigger favour and more good by doing his job by investigating to find out what is goimg on.

I think we need to just wait until there's some news to be shared. Steve (Easterbrook) has always been incredibly communicative about the whole new ground process and we should trust him to share any news with us when there's something to share. All the time Steve is involved, I'm confident he'll do the right thing and tell us what's going on, whatever the situation.
