Paulton Rovers - home 17th October

A fantastic opportunity to move in to the top half of the league, which a win would guarantee.

Paulton currently bottom and winless in the league, with 5 draws and 7 defeats in their twelve matches so far.

Can we really extend our record to four consecutive league wins?

I watched them play pre season against Swindon Supermarine and the one thing that stood out is like every otherside in the league is they were very hardworking full stop.

Looking at Paultons league record a little more closely, although they have no wins to their name they have drawn 5 games, notably against Hungerford, Kings Lynn and Merthyr and have only lost by a single goal to Poole, Kettering and Chesham.

Bottom of the league but have shown that they can cause problems to some good teams.

Do you think we will remain unchanged from the line ups that beat Dorchester and Histon?

Or do you think anyone impressed enough on Tuesday to force themselves in to the starting eleven?

Or if Rumbold comes straight in who do you think he will replace?

I would think fitness allowing we'd be unchanged from the league wins we have had recently, but if Rummy comes into the team I can only see Adrian Sear being the one to miss out. I think Dan Hicks did an excellent job captaining the side on Tuesday night so that wouldn't be an issue either. Only change I could see.

We do play again on Monday though which could play a factor

You could be right but personally I think we should play our preferred 11 and worry about the Redditch game after we've played Paulton.

Paulton cannot be taken lightly. Lets get the points on the board and then look forward to Monday's game.

Does anyone know the reason why we're playing Monday and not on the Tuesday?

Presumably its just their chosen midweek home game day. Think Hitchin also play Mondays. Of course Beaconsfield have done the same for years.

Few teams in our league play Wednesday midweek home games as well
