v Histon

Aside from this Tuesday's game (where I'd expect Leigh to start along with the likes of Williams, Lake, Harrison, Gokmen and Hope), I wouldn't change the starting 11 that's got us on this fine run of form, if a new player or two comes in.

I wouldn't change the goal keeper, Luke Williams is at Met Police and they have a game on Tuesday.

But certainly I'd play Adam Martin, Gurkan Gokman, Ryan Hope, Scott Harris, Stuart Lake, Rummy and our new signing

The thing I find strange is out of Histon's 7 home League game only 2 had a lower attendances than ours. Going by what I think the Slough support was 100+ (ish) that makes home support 150ish SO,,,,,,,Chesham took 57ish,.,.,.,. Hitchin took 168ish,.,.,.Cambridge took 406ish (but local derby) ,.,.,.Chippenham took 38ish,.,.,.Leamington took 144ish,.,.,.,Dunstable took 133ish

I would be shocked if Dunstable took as many as 3, never mind 133.

Yeah I listened too and although I wasn't there it does seem he wasn't either! Seems a poor loser and not gracious in defeat, is he related to Corby's manager?

Histon had loads of chances and 2 penalty shouts turned down etc etc completely forgetting about our dominance, hitting the bar two or three times and all our other missed chances

Have to say was very surprised with his comments, he admitted on the touchline with his assistant that the Sean Fraser challenge was never a penalty, they were trying it on, however most teams would have appealed also (and that was what they said to us), the ref did almost give it, luckily the assistant had a great view and signalled no penalty.

They had a case with Hicksy handball, I thought that was a penalty....

However in reality we should have been out of sight with 60 mins on the clock... yes they could have taken something from the game in the end... did they deserve too?? not IMO.

Well you are totally right Neil. The only real difference between the 7-1 game and yesterday was that in the 7-1 game we took pretty much all of our chances, yesterday the goalie made 4-5 good saves, and we hit the bar twice so we didn't spank them more than 2-1.

If the manager believes they should have got something out of that game and that the Histon side is good enough, I feel for the Histon supporters as they are in for a long season
