Woohoo, another 3 points. We were comfortable in the first half and probably should have been further ahead than 1-0. We came under pressure second half though and had to defended well.

Great effor from all the lads again today. I thought Declan Banjamin shared MoM. Our midfield looks so much stronger and positive this last couple of games.

Another good game with a high work rate and making chances.

They could/should have had a couple of penalties, but the luck went our way thanks to a very inconsistent ref.

Both Benjamin and Stonehouse provided the goods and we need to secure them or equivalent to give the team the structure it needs.  The rest of the team are also finding their form and confidence which is exactly what is needed.

The recent departures have changed things around and it might well have been one bad apple was spoiling the tub.

Another solid performance top to bottom today. Had we taken our chances we could have had another hat full against them

MoM - for me I would say a split between Putman and Hicks but once again most of the team had decent games.

What a difference 3 wins and a few quality players make. Looking forward to seeing Rummy back a maybe a couple more new signings on Tuesday

Question is after 3 straight wins including two decent performances should we change around the team on Tuesday for the league cup game or play the same starting eleven and (hopefully) build more momentum? But we could also risk injury to key players which going into Saturday's game against the bottom team (and important not to get ahead of ourselves) if play as well as recently we should be looking at another win?

Excellent result  and 3 consecutive wins certainly has confidence back and heads held high  Seriously there is no reason why we shouldnt think of a much higher position than was being considered very recently The table that has developed so far is quite unexpected  Did any of you expect Dunstable 20th Merthyr 19th Kettering18th ? A number of the favoured high-spenders simply arent performing There are unexpected/unlikely results almost every week  Let our aspirations be at least top 10.

Deserved the win, 2-1 doesn't do us justice. I was surprised how well we did against a team that has had a good run since we beat them 7-1, which serves to prove how well we've been bolstered by the loanees, particularly Stonehouse and Benjamin. The latter is very strong, hard to disposess and can pick a pass.

Great freekick from Lewis Putman again, Charlie Mpi's now customary goal, 2 against the bar and their goalie made 3 or 4 super saves. Histon are probably glad to see the back of us this season!

Well done to all, onwards and upwards.

Excellent performance today although we got a little nervous in the last 15-20 minutes. Other than that we dominated and should have had a few more. Great team performance but VERY impressed with Declan Benjamin - did my absolute best to convince him his future was with Slough after the game!

'Maybe one other coming in' as the man said.

We will definitely change the team on Tuesday and we're playing Chesham so recent form will go out of the window.

Whoa there Irish!

Dunstable are the perennial under achievers since they've been in the premier division and Merthyr and Kettering are new to what is a very tough division so maybe not so unexpected.

The big test will be when we lose the quality loan players that we have and only time will tell how this will affect us and where we will end up.

I'm slightly worried too about our form when our 3 loanees return to their clubs. Not saying these 3 are the only reason for our recent form but it's certainly no coincidence either. Hopefully the 1 or 2 new players being sought or of near the same quality or can make the same impact.

Great win, sounds like a good display too! I couldn't make the game today.

The one bad apple comment earlier in thread seemed a bit harsh? McDonald was killing us with lack of pace but I don't know who the bad apple supposedly was!

Anyway, great win! I don't see where rummy fits into this team currently as only here short term! Sears and Benjamin forming good pair and so are the cb pairings... Still nice option

Agree, although no names were mentioned I think the 'one bad apple' comment was a out of order!
