FA Rules state replays must be played by following Thursday of original game. From what I was told clubs want it following week so therefore the FA has to agree to request

Groundhopper report

Northampton Spencer 3 Harpenden Town 2 (FA Vase 2nd qualifying round)

Adm. £6 Prog. £1 Att. 50 est
Couldn't be bothered to do much travelling today, so decided to watch my favourite team en route to Wembley!
Harpenden were by far the better team in the first half and led 2-0.
Spencer did up their game in the second half and quickly pulled a goal back. Then Harpenden pressed the self-destruct button. First the number got sent off with a second yellow card, allowing Spencer to score two goals against the ten men. Then the number 6 saw red for comparing the refs. assistant to the female genitalia. The idiot seemed really surprised to be dismissed for this and the goalkeeper claimed he only called the lino a 'cheat'. The nine men did nearly equalise on one occasion.

Another.

49. Saturday 3 October 2015 - FA Vase - Attendance: 57

Waltham Forest (white & blue) 2-5 Welwyn Garden City (claret & sky)
Scorers: Waltham Forest (Balogun 24, Tulloch 48) Welwyn Garden City (Bronti 32 pen, 37 & 68 pen, Lovell 78, X* 88) *unknown at the moment
New Ground: A very friendly and welcoming club, too much to do for a small workforce
Pitch: lots of weeds, bobbly and hard, overriding factor was it was level
Transport: driving, M25, A10, A110 and A112 route, did not touch the North Circular Road
Weather: dull, low cloud, misty, gloom lifted mid-afternoon

At Wadham Lodge I was cordially invited into the inner sanctum of Waltham Forest FC and introduced to my right-hand man for the afternoon, a very talkative referee's assessor. We were both impressed by the young referee, who missed just one trick. He should have remonstrated with the eight men standing up in front of the visitor's dug out, posing to be Welwyn Garden City's management team. Six too many, I believe.

Meanwhile, Welwyn Garden City cleaned up with five goals, after being one goal behind. Waltham Forest were content to shoot from long range, Welwyn Garden City working the ball much closer into the danger areas. A gap opened up in the middle of W G C's defence and Abiola Balogun worked his way through to score. Waltham Forest immediately livened up. However, it was not long before a home defender pulled down a long throw with his hand, an easy spot for the referee. The penalty-kick was converted by Josh Bronti and Bronti soon scored again. He was away down the right, homing in on goal, this time from an acute angle, driving the ball across the face of the goal and into the far corner.

Three minutes into the second-half and surprise, surprise, a home equaliser. Danny Tulloch was on the end of a long cross. He looked off-side, but to be fair, he had run in a long way. He clipped a finish with the outside of the boot, as W G C were well and truly caught out. Then, another moment of madness in the home box, as a foul gave W G C a second spot kick. The ball was placed just out of the reach of the home keeper and if that didn't take the game out of reach, W G C's fourth and fifth goals certainly did. A long free-kick was touched home and finally Waltham Forest were shot down, with a clinical finish making the score 2-5, but had a sixth chalked off, as when the ball was rolling in, an off-side attacker took a touch.

[i also had inertia, probably the same disease like my dam cat, which was my reason for me not travelling too far. I sense a visit to Devon and Cornwall is on the horizon. However, I read he was having a tidying up day. I bet he doesn't use a vacuum cleaner to get that old fluff off his couch. My lunchtime stop was at the Aroma Cafe in Chingford, which provided my nourishment. The nearby Costa Coffee was closed for refurbishment. Waltham Forest fed the 5,000 after the game and me at half-time]
