Bideford home match

The problem seems to be that having taken the decision that changes needed to be made  too many changes are being made at the same time imo New players need to be eased into the team and system gradually  If you try to introduce 2 or 3 new players at the same time  then at best you may get some good individual performances but at the expense of

any cohesion any joined-up play.

Let's just be happy with the win. Does make me wonder why Charlie Mpi has been left on bench in any game, for me he is our biggest threat and grafts all game.

Good win, needed it! Badly! Need to build on it... Some very winnable games not far ahead too.

Think injury may of played a part with being missing, I could be wrong but I think it was

Not at our best but a massively welcome win.

Relief to stop the bad run but as Neil Baker touched upon in his tweet lots of work to do still.

Think we panicked late on mostly due to the desperation of not being used to winning recently and I would hope we will start the next game with increased belief and confidence now.

Fingers crossed we can pick up a decent amount of points in the next 3 or 4 games and starting building a gap over the relegation zone like for example Histon have since we thrashed them

'Today we got a win', and often a win can generate confidence and lead to other wins.... take it, be happy and commence with the moaning if we lose Tuesday.

Great we got 3 points and it's a hap-hap-happy day !

However, let's keep real, life isn't a musical and regardless of the 3 points we gained, there's no disguising that  the manner of the win left a lot to be desired.

Agree with your point, Curtis, that a win can build confidence and boy,do we need it at the moment !

My constructive criticism [not moaning as you call it] is about the need for players to stand up and get stuck in and not be shrinking violets, as this is the most basic principle that a team needs to do, when they are struggling to get results. This will build confidence, spirit and morale for harder games ahead.

Yesterday I only noticed 5 out of the 11 willing to do this.

If this side of our game doesn't improve we will find ourselves in the relegation places

Graham, I'll get told off for this by naming names but the 5 was actually 4 ! ! ! .Scott, Hollis Sear Mpi.

2 others who didn't have the best of games yesterday but kept trying was Fraser and MacDonald. Thought Lake did ok when he came on.

Can't expect much from loan players or players possibly only here for one off games, they aren't bothered whether we go up or down.

Can't stand Chelsea and have not read any national Sunday papers yet. Mourinho as good a manager as he is, loves publicity and is an attention seeker in my book.

I'm in mourning this morning for the England rugby team !

Stuart i got home after spending 6 hrs on the M4 seeing 8 minutes of our game hoping to see a decent Rugby match England utter rubbish so slow in movement and play and so preditable.

Bad day all round.

Sorry to go off topic but is anyone else having trouble getting on this forum?

I see other people have been posting today but I cannot get in the normal way because the message is coming up saying 'error occured with the SQL server'

Any of our computer buffs know what the problem might be?

Sounds like there's a problem with one of the many servers at the host, and you are hitting it each time.
