Bideford home match

In a poor position at the moment but Bideford are no mugs  lost to Poole last night  but only 2-1  maximum effort and concentration required by the lads on Saturday.

I know it's still early season, but with the current form of both us and Bideford, this has the feel of a big six pointer match.

Bideford have also just signed a new defender and a new forward. Forward played and scored for them against Poole and defender comes in on Saturday.

Forward is Ed Palmer formerly of Truro and Torquay and will be a good acquisition for them

I think our win ratio in 2015 so far is 1 in every 5 games so watch out Bideford!

We could even play with Putts out wide left and two from Mpi, Hatchett or Strutton in the middle.

There is an interesting piece on the Bideford site where their manager bemoans the fact that he has never had so many injured players He had 8 first choice players unavailable for their last home match hence the need to recruit the 2 players mentioned above Looks like allowing for the 2 new players they will still lack 4 first choice players tomorrow according to their local press

As we are desperate for a left back what was the outcome of 7 day approach on the left back who was spoken to at the beginning of the week?

The lad in particular is undecided at present and will make a decision next week!

 

In the meantime we have signed Adam Nditi (who played for us pre season against Wealdstone) and are hoping the paperwork will be accepted by the Southern League in time for him to play tomorrow.

Neil is that a permanent signing? +Excellent signing imo   early twenties ex Chelsea Fleetwood and Basingstoke

Kind of remember Nditi from the Wealdstone. Had plenty of pace and a bit of trickery but when going forward had no end product. However playing left back going forward wont matter too much.

 

Looking back to the Wealdstone thread I think bakes or unders saying the Nditi preferred to sign for Farnborough as they were closer to him, could be wrong though.

Looking at the Farnborough site it seems that Adam has started in 6 of their games 5 as a number 11 and one as a full back.
