cup of tea
I didn't think the game was going to live up to the cup match on Saturday and first half was a little but cagey and fairly even with both sides attacking but not with the same gusto as the weekend. Glad to get 1-0 ahead with a well worked goal by David Knight. Second half, came out of the blocks quickly again - usual goal of the season from George Purcell !!! Glad Nathan got a goal as well. Seemed to me to be 2 soft goals we gave away after that, but their striker (Ricky Freeman??) seems to be knocking goals in for fun at the moment. We seemed to turn off for a bit. Deserved the win and keeps us up there - It's very tight at the top of the league.
cup of tea
Having said it was tight at the top just saw that Cray scored in the 90th minute against Thamesmead - give them a cushion at the top now. Shows what a good result our home win was against them.
