Leamington

No complaints about a block, it's part of the game. The question in my opinion is whether it was excessive force which for me would make it a foul. Judging by the swollen and bloody lip that Adam had at half time I would say this one was excessive and therefore a foul but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Like I said we could have defended all 3 goals better than we did.

So, Leamington's first was from a well-rehearsed illegal block that they got away with the same as we rehearse in training? It's a bit churlish to complain when we admit to trying the same thing - it's just that on this occasion they executed it better than we do.

Unders was saying it is a block... Any block in the box can obviously get given as a free kick by a ref, but you have to do what you can to try and get an advantage in the box or at least cause confusion... that is exactly what they did and it worked... fair play to them....

One of our most important goals against Rugby in the play off semi final was a block on their defender giving JD a free header.... and we probably scored 7-10 goals that year from that and similar routines.

Last year Reece scored 3 from an adapted corner,  and we should have probably scored another 4/5.

This year we should have scored 4 or 5 already (but have not scored one)

It is part and parcel of football.

No idea, depends on the angle the referee was at and what he saw given the bodies in the way.

Ian there are no bodies in the way. I personally think the way he is looking he couldn't possibly have missed it.

My question is why is the Ref looking out towards where the corner is being taken. It is a corner where all sorts of fouls will be committed in the area so why isn't he looking there?

IMO his whole body shape is wrong to the point where he couldn't possibly see if any foul was being committed in the area. Just plain poor from the ref.

You make a very good point Ian.
