We're letting in too many goals, so do we need major changes in defence? Our issues in midfield have been spoken about quite a bit so should we have an overhaul there? Then what about our strikers who aren't firing? As you can see we could in theory change the whole side but that obviously can't happen, so what/where do we need to strengthen?

GlenSTC    Defence must be the top priority    If you dont concede you can never lose   No matter how many you score you are guaranteed nothing  Dunstable beat Kettering 4-0 tonight   We are now 20th  one place out of the relegation zone.

Ok I am going to ignore the first half with 3 goals and basically a lack luster load of crap..... I am going to focus on the 2nd half where I am guessing after a furious team talk we looked like a better team. We fought hard we had shots on target and saved goals!

Only issue I do have is we seem to lack confidence! Jhai, Putmen again superb

It really shouldn't take a half time rollicking to get the players fired up.

Do this group of players want to win games or not?

Is it solely the defence or are they being exposed by a pedestrian midfield?

SloughFlyer can't blame Gay MacDonald or Jamie McClurg  tonight for this defeat !

We should change the formation from 4-4-2 to a 5-3-2 when defending to a 3-5-2 when attacking. This would fit to the squad we have better than how we use them currently. It doesn't have to be forever, just while we are going through this sticky patch

This would bolster the defence ie inexperience of Dan Hicks at Premier division level and add an experienced old head to play between Hollis and Hicks, which could be Gary MacDonald, Stuart Lake or a new defender.

Craig Scott can also fit in after crimbo and won't have to be thrown straight in the deep end

We then still have the chance to play 3 centre midfielders and have the option to either play a holding midfielder or Wazza or Jake[or Lewis] to play in a free role, or alternatively we can play three midfielders like Adam M, Nathan W, Ryan H.

I would look to bring a new right back in to share the work with Sean and to keep the position competitive.

Up front I would bring a part-time forwards coach in [once every two to three weeks to cut costs] to work on different ideas and to get the best out of the strikers.

Someone like John Lawford, Cliff Hercules or Keith Scott, ie an ex non-league experienced forward.

The players we want are a fit Jake Parsons, Nathan Webb and Ed Smith.

IMO we are crying out for a left sided midfielder. Listening to rebels radio it seems that Putts was out on the left putting in some good crosses that were going to waste. Putts is a goal scorer but won't score many stuck out wide.

I wasn't there tonight so I've no idea who played well or badly, but it's clear to me that all departments need major improvements. Conceding too many goals and then failing to claw our way back into the game has become a recurring theme over the past couple of weeks.

A win on Saturday at home to struggling Bideford is an absolute must IMO.

RR, GlenSTFC asked the question what can be done currently. The way we are shipping goals so easily, something needs to change  Hence three centre backs or two centre backs and a sweeper.

We desperately need Ed Smith back and fit. Nathan Webb has also been a big loss.

We both know how good Jake is but he is another who keeps getting injured and along with Wazza, both only seem 80% fit, which isn't helping the cause either.

With no left sided winger and Lewis being goal shy at the moment, and if we are to play a 4-4-2, then the answer is to play Lewis wide but there's no point him being a striker and then going wide. He won't score any goals doing that.
