I can assure you that the last thing we do when making changes (and please don't take this the wrong way) is listen to fans view on here. You all disagree with each other anyway so how would we please everyone!

A difficult period for us as managers and for the players but we will get it right.

What do you mean you don't listen to us fans? !  Shock, outrage, damn and blast ! LOL !

I'm sure players do laugh at some of the nonsence on here, but remember they also have feelings and Gary you know as well as I do that some things on here do sometimes have a knock on effect.

Good post by Khan.

Ha ha Stuart stop picking on defenceless women !!

I owe you an apology, Redwine.

It was that darn Hammer Rebel having a go at me again, defenceless I don't think so !  Gulp !   ha ha ha !

I haven't done anything but give a reasoned opinion. Excuse my right to do so without getting accused of this that and the other. No wonder support is dwindling.

We call them the welcoming committee ! ha ha !

On here, people like to know who you are in person, when you post, that way we don't have to worry about trolls, disgruntled ex players, or managers looking for a job or god forbid, a nutter !

Which although not nice when you first join, it does wheedle out those that care, or those that are looking to stir up trouble.

The support is not dwindling because of this forum.

THE THING THAT IS ANNOYING ME IS:

For 5ish years supporters were saying we need to get out of this sh--- league (central) and play better teams with attendances 300+ Neil and Jon done that.

Now in the Premier, it takes more £ for the club just to stay in the Premier, and what happens attendances go down (at mo 271 average).

So to me the support is not helping the club, ( this is not a dig just and observation)

We've had 5 home games (not counting the B & B ) only 1 over 300 (only just 304) and the lowest 250. That a lot of £ the club is down, to get these so called better players.

I know it's hard when the team is not clicking but this is the time they need the support most, anyone can support a winning team.

We/Us as a whole (the 50ish that have gone) need to get back to supporting the team win or lose.

The 250+ supporters need to join The Trust, 500 Club and bring a friend along to a home game.

When we got promoted I was thinking that the attendances would go up to about 350ish.

RANT OVER

The club will always struggle to attract folks to Beaconsfield IMO due to the fact it's quite out of the way with the location of the ground. I think the trust events which are being done are brilliant and are great for raising the clubs profile but need to be maintained as the ground progresses to make sure we can maximise the impact of returning home and retaining that lapsed support as someone like Maidstone have done since their return home, and to a lesser extent, Wealdstone.

As with anything though, the product will be the enticing factor. At present, our results haven't been that good, nor the performances (Histon result aside) so won't be doing much to bring the supporters back. We've always been down to the hardcore since the move to Beaconsfield but would be interesting to hear of any supporters we've gained since the move that didn't follow us before. I'll bet there aren't many, if any.

Epic Rebel, it's a catch 22 situation. Slough attendances will pick up when the new stadium is build.

If we get rid of, or don't get good enough players for Premier division standards we will get relegated. In which case the attendance will drop again.

You cannot blame the fans who do come along.

Supporting a team or moaning about the team costs the same amount.

The thing which pisses people off is being told to join this and cough up for the other.

That is why I have not joined the trust and will not put money into the 500 club which then gives half of what has been collected away.

Some of us can think for ourselves and want to make sure 100% of any money on top of the gate money goes to the club - i.e. the Barmy Army collection.

Q-  what part of The Trust money is given away

The 500 club is like the lottery you put money in to help (in this case) the club and also have a chance of winning.

The Barmy army get things for the money.

Long and amusing thread.

My opinions.

For such an imposing defender who is so good in the air McDonald has been near by for a lot of goals coming from free headers.

Get rid of martin and I feel we have lost all our creativity in midfield.

What creativity ? !
