Had 250+ in to watch our game vs Sun Sports on Charity Day and they all made a lot of noise. Fantastic support and we even catered for the players with a full hog roast! Battle of Britain flypast at HT & made a few quid for Children With Cancer UK & Mudlarks too. Great day!

Excellent game at SJP today. Decent crowd, and some good stuff on show. Edgware edged it 2-1 with a last minute goal. Southall played some excellent stuff in the 2nd half, and were unlucky to lose to be honest, but 6 points against one of the favourites to go up, we won't complain. Roche and Fab doing some excellent work down at Silver Jubilee.

Just polished off the morning after fry up at Busby's cafe and there was a lad in there saying you went down to 10 yesterday? Who was it probably that Paul Mark? Guys discipline is shot. Always leaving a boot in, or in one case left the boot in so late he left the other at home!

Tring C v Hale Leys. Not a good day at the office for Hale. Tring attacked uphill from the start, 2 attempts on goal both scored within about 12 minutes. Hales normal passing game just didn't happen. Some very unusual ref decisions which should have produced cards went unpunished, then a turnaround saw cards flashed for nothing. Hale got back into the game in the 2nd half with 2 goals. But the win could have come from either team with chances not taken. Not the best of pitches with a massive slope, spectator viewing is very limited. Nice small friendly bar though.

Nope, Marksy only had 1 booking this season, it was Bilal Butt...

Buttsy got the red?!?? What was that for never passing the ball? Sounds like his forcing himself a move away to Egham with Meaks.

(SavageBee I did call it, watch this space)

A very good player.

I see Meakin is already working his magic at Egham Town FC as they got a very decent away win at Barton Rovers yesterday.

"Only had1 booking this season".... You can't say that like it's an achievement, he's hardly played any games after being suspended from last season!

Really?

God help you if you're insinuating the bigdog's lying about the lady mayor.

Legend of a man. Taught me at school. Used to give pupils rides across the school field in his mini. Would even lend you a couple of quid for school dinners or a pack of cigarettes. One of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Couldn't agree more. He lives across the road from me and always a pleasure to bump into him and catch up.

Leverstock game at Stotfold was abandoned due to serious injuries to our goalkeeper Liam McDonaugh and Stotfold's forward Ben L'Honore.

A club statement has been issued.

"It is confirmed that Liam suffered a broken nose and a fractured skull. He will be having brain scans over the next few days but is slowly beginning to feel better."

We wish Liam a speedy recovery.
