Tott v Kents - a good game of football played with a great attitude and passion from both teams. It sounds a bit contradictive with there being 2 red cards for a bad tackle and then a bad reaction but it was played in the best spirit from both sides I tgought. The only niggle was towards the ref, apparently a boss from beds fa was there and he lost his head booking lads that didn't deserve it and not booking lads that did. Even the Reds could've been yellows, but raising your hands and a studs up shin high tackle by letter of law are reds. Kents were the better side and we were poor up until last 15 mins. Both GK's made some worldies and could've been 4 all on another day.

Poor last 15 which was unlike us usually kill off teams near the end. Losing our red card was harsh! Oppos keeper should have gone after 30, denying goal scoring opportunity.

 

Good game for the neutral, don't take your chances it will come to bite you, Daly and Penman as guilty as anyone today. But last 10 they pressured and we caved. Fair play to Totternhoe

Excellent game at SJP today. Decent crowd, and some good stuff on show. Edgware edged it 2-1 with a last minute goal. Southall played some excellent stuff in the 2nd half, and were unlucky to lose to be honest, but 6 points against one of the favourites to go up, we won't complain. Roche and Fab doing some excellent work down at Silver Jubilee.

Was also at Totternhoe vs Kent but missed the red card incident supervising on the climbing wall & slide!

 

Thought the keeper was marginally inside the box when he handled as I was in line.

 

Think a point each was probably fair although with Kent 2-0 up with 10 to play they'll be gutted.

 

Lots of chances for both sides with a number of balls flashing across the box just needing that final touch, both keepers making decent saves & good half chances. Kent could have run away with it on another day.

Sounds like the Harry "the hot posh" Hunt had a good game today hitting the net 4 times for Harpenden. The Burns brothers won't be on his back as much now in the HTFC wassapp group.

 

St Albans town will be glad to see Jimmy Danger bagged also. Not the sort of man you want to invite to your birthday party when his missed out on the goals.
