Chris Clapham
From Ashford's online match report v Farnham "It does seem to the writer that the CCL is now more competitive than ever. Although one would not have anticipated as such when the fixtures were issued, Ashford’s opponents to date have largely been clubs currently in the bottom half of the table and yet every one, with possibly one exception, has looked a decent side. Although it will decide nothing at this early stage, Ashford have a big test on Saturday when they look forward to the visit of Hanworth Villa who themselves are unbeaten in league matches to date, only dropping points when they drew at Chessington & Hook United a week or so back....." Tel
Saw Ashford Beat unbeaten Hanworth 4-1. Hanworth lost their composure giving away two penalties and finishing with ten men. Mark Bitmead dispatched both spot kicks.

Rother
From Ashford's online match report v Farnham "It does seem to the writer that the CCL is now more competitive than ever. Although one would not have anticipated as such when the fixtures were issued, Ashford’s opponents to date have largely been clubs currently in the bottom half of the table and yet every one, with possibly one exception, has looked a decent side. Windsor seem to be making everyone in the bottom half look better than they probably are. And that's where we are going to spend the season ourselves unless things change significantly. We even succeeded in that department against 10 man Ash in the Vase.
Carthorse
Farnham 1 Horley Town 4 First fifteen minutes Farnham were all over us playing good attacking fast football. They took the lead from the penalty spot after the centre foward went down in the box very easy. Fanham scorerd from the penalty spot. This seamed to wake Town up and eight minutes later Ashley Nadesan scored to make it one one. Farnham were still the better team in the first half having more of the ball and Town's passing was all over the place. The second half was so different with one way traffice with Horley taking control and adding three more goal all scored by Ashley Nadesan with some of these being great team goals. aupostie
Ash utd 3 Cobham 1 Wow a win at last Cobham started the game very well & if they had thier shooting boots could easily have been in the lead but they wasn't & against the run of play Ash took the lead. However within 20seconds Cobham were level The game the opened up more & just before the break Ash regain the lead. Second half Cobham had alot off the ball but didn't really cause Ash many problems & on the break Ash scored again (Cobham keeper very unlucky as he made a triple save but finally beaten). Ash held on for 3 very important points
duncs
Yes have to agree wiv you about the 2nd half mate cos as you know i didn't make the 1st half,to say Cobham had a lot of the ball is right probably 90 per cent, some of the home team are very unfit and some were only making up the numbers,a manager/coach has no excuse for a team being unfit and its very simple to solve, if you want to that is.A good 3 points but i see sheers won as well so its important to get something from the next games. Of course I want us to improve, but nothing to do with me, I've just got to make sure the pitch is playable

However, having never actually heard a c0ck make a sound, I wish you would elaborate. I noticed that this was your first-post, so wonder exactly what your point and motive is. E&E Rich
The match report from our draw with AFC Hayes is here: http://www.eefconline.co.uk/Fix2015.16-16.html Not a great performance by any means but there are certainly worse teams out there than AFC Hayes and I think they will have no trouble staying up this season. Their centre half was superb and won every header, and we have to find ways of keeping the ball away from players like that.
