Slough Boy,

Warren, our best player before his injury so why wouldn't you play him again.

Adam foulser, came on at Redditch after his injury for twenty mins and in my opinion made a difference so again why would you not hope he was going to be able to play again.

As for McClurg, Sears and Martin that's your opinion but not all of ours.

Oh and I am not a happy clapper so don't even go there !!!

Great pictures and looks like the pitch was/is in great condition.

Surely that's not the great cricket umpire, Dickie Bird butting in in Picture 1 ??

Favourites.... Warren Harris - is he the player he was, since then we have gone up a league and he has been out a year. Absolute reliance on him. Not being harsh as he is a good player but is he doing it consistently to be left in week after week? Foulser, why did we persist with getting him back agn you can look back at all the posts saying when he is back etc.... Mclurg, Sears and Martin all much of a muchness, where is the creation? Similarly where is the creation in shape? 1 time I recall us trying something 352 we win at Margate last year, I know we player that again and lost... Not saying 352 is the answer, although it would sort our creation out centrally if we have the 2 sitters in cm and play jake or even warren in there with some freedom! Instead stick with wingers that (parsons aside) are not doing it!

Eddie smith as well, not a favourite? Who is the fall guy who keeps getting pushed wide? Natural goalscorer and they push him wide? Madness.

Not agreed with much you've posted, Sloughboy.

However, you raise a fair point about Warren Harris, which has an element of truth in it ,in regards to Warren's fitness but is harsh in my opinion, considering the type of injuries he's had.

To my mind we have two exceptional right wingers/attacking midfielders in Wazza , and Jake Parsons. We are lucky to have them. Both have had their injuries and of course, need time to be back at their best.

Both are getting there and my notion is that we could alternate them in a game as right wingers [ 45 minutes each now] or when fully fit, play either one or the other for the full 90 on the right.

We also have the option of one on the right and one on the left [occasionally] or choose them both, one as a right

winger and one playing behind the striker in an attacking higher midfield role.

We persisted with getting Adam Foulser back because he was always going to be such a crucial player for us this season.

Both Eddie Smith and Putts are natural goal scorers.

As far as I'm aware Putts has played as a winger in the past and was the obvious player to go out wide and I think it proved quite successful with Putts putting in some decent crosses leading to a goal.

The next few games will be crucial for how the rest of the season pans out.

Cup wise there are both FA and League games against two competitive teams - win these and there is cash in the pot - go out and this limits the wages budget.

League wise it will prove if we are up to mixing it with the better teams, or just erratic and only capable of picking up points here and there.

Come the end of October and a better measure can be taken.

Are you not entitled to an opinion unless it fits in with management? We will review after 10 games and see then. It is prob 20 games now... Then 39! Just because they post on here doesn't mean they aren't wrong.

Are you JonBlack in disguise? The way you express yourself about the managers, sounds like you are.

I'm all for honest opinion, as long as it's not offensive, unfair or from someone carrying some sort of personal grudge.

As you've only just started posting, Sloughboy, not quite sure what category you fall in.

All fans want the team to do well, don't they?  The managers are trying their best and while things haven't quite gone to plan, it's not all doom and gloom either.

I believe with a slight bit of tweaking [2 or 3 in and 2 or 3 out] and our best players available, this side will move up the table and come good IMO.

What has been offensive? And I have no grudge to the managers at all. Never said they aren't doing their best either, maybe that's the trouble.

Anyway, you are right, all we want is success, you, me, jonblack and any other alias.

No one has accused you of being offensive.

I notice another snide remark, just like johnblack.

Defensive how? Neil provided you with an answer to one of your problems, what more can you want? That's why your opinion is being knocked back.

As for the comments on Warren Harris being a "favourite", that is just crazy. He's been out for a whole year and has to adjust not only to getting back into the game again, but also to the step up in level from division 1 to premier level. I'd say he's doing quite well. The only way he will be able to get back to his best is to play matches.

Don't forget Wazza has played at Premier level before.

He will take a bit of time to get back to his best but IMO he's coming along just nicely.
