v Bedworth

A good signing for them.  Ive a feeling we need to tread carefully with this match  Bedworth have scored fewer  goals than any team in the league and conceded more than any team in the league  but as well as this new signing theyve had two key players suspended for three games These suspensions are now over A potential banana skin imo.

I'm delighted the managers have brought Dan back to the club. He's a young player from the town who has gone away, captained two local clubs and steadily made his way up the pyramid. I hope he takes his chance with us.

What with Charlie signing, I'm really pleased that we are slowly increasing the pool of Slough lads in the squad. This is really important I think, particularly with us hopefully moving back into the town next season.

I agree we mustn't take Bedworth, Redditch, or come to that, Basingstoke lightly but it bothers me a bit when we make out these sides are such tough sides to beat. If anything that puts doubt into the minds of the Slough players.

We need to start believing that we are better and focus on what we can do and not on what we can't.

Respectfully addressing your upcoming opponents is preferable to condescension and arrogance and giving those opponents their own team talk. I doubt what our bosses say about other teams affects our players, because the only thing they will want to hear is what Neil and John say in the dressing room before they go out.

I wouldn't say I'm delighted, I'm not sure what he'll be like but am optimistic to see, nonetheless.

Big jump for him to make, when you think Marlow and Windsor. However, he must have something for our managers to take a punt on him.

Agree it's good to have some local talent in the side, as they have an affinity to the area. However, it can be a bit restricting with the pool of talent, that is available nearby.

I'm not saying be disrespectful or arrogant. I'm saying focus on being positive and build a mentality that believes that they can win.

3spirit, you must know that what's said on the outside is not necessarily what's communicated to the players.

I know, it was just something to debate about !

What I have been saying all along we give opposing sides to much credit.

Everything makes perfect sense on what Jon has said in the preview. Sounds like there's only going to be the odd tweak to the line up for tomorrow's game.

My team for tomorrow's game would be

                      Scott

     Fraser, Hollis, MacDonald, R.Parsons.

     W.Harris, McClurg, Edwards, N.Webb.

                    Mpi       Putman

Subs; J.Parsons, Hicks, Martin, S.Harris, Baker !

Had Luke Williams had been available I would have kept him in goal, as he's done well since he's come back but that's not to say that Mark Scott isn't as good a keeper.
