FA CUP Sham

Urchino

Recommended Posts

First things first the team performed fantastic, every single player involved did us proud and proved the gulf bettween league and non-league footbal is getting smaller and smaller. congratulations to the coaching staff and the players.

The Referee was not only incopitant but also shockingly biased indeed, what the referee feels he will gain from such a one sided view point is anyones guess. I feel our players where amazingly calm considering, as others have said the Tranmere coaching staff and players seemed embarresed by the Referee. A match against Bolton would have been a great day but the league and Trophy are more important in the bigger shape of things.

What makes it even worse is that according to The Sunday Mail and the Non League paper Crick has reported us to the FA over "certain Incidents". Sadly UB's suggested idea would never work the FA would deam it as sour grapes the only way the Referee will be punished is if the FA fill that the Refereeing standard showed the FA in a bad light and i know that Ruddock's and Lawrensons views on the incidents where hardly favourable.

The biggest match is yet to come for HFC yesterday seemed the start of something not the end !!

Agree Urchino, as I said on another post somewhere on here, not only have we been punished by losing the game, but further punishment could be forthcoming in the way of either a fine, or worse still suspensions and possible bans for our players. The FA need to take into account how p*ss poor the joker was, when they start dishing out fines and bans to us.

Sorry i missed that Lord, cant blame me though with 25 new posts since Saturday <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

On the serious note not just saying this as an URCHIN the FA would be much better just to atempt to bury this under the carpet (easier said than done )rather than blow the argument up and one other thing make sure that Crick never referees a match of Hornchurch's again, surelly any other match of ours would be tainted with his apparent bias towards us.

One last thing Labeling a Referee a cheat is apparantlly a red card offence but a referee labelling a team as cheats is ok ?

It's the same ol' problem between football authorities ( be they FIFA, UEFA, FA) and clubs.

There is only a one-way dialogue; teams have very little right of appeal over incidents such as the one we faced on Saturday(and as England faced in 86, for instance etc etc).

This feeling of "impotence" one gets with dealing with these authorities does more to demoralise supporters than bad results, and create an "us and them" situation.

I take it Vinny might be one of those players in the little tw@ts book?

Nothing will happen to the ref, mark my words. If the FA have any decency, then they will take a lenient approach to any punishment that comes the clubs way. There's no changing the result, we all know that won't happen, but we could be cheated out of league points or another cup competition if half the team is suspended for calling the ref a cheat!!

If That Wnaker (Crick) Reports Us ! Maybe Someone Should Show The F.A The Whole Game ! If He Ever Ref's Another Hornchurch Game I Swear I Will End Up Killing The Twat ! He Ruined The Game By Giving Unecessary Free Kicks To Tranmere ! There Was Nothing Wrong With Our Goal And We Should Of Had A Penalty !

Now Now Urchin Boy, We are all pi$$ed off about the Refs dispaly on Saturday and nothing we say or do is going to change what happened out there on the pitch. Personally I think it's time we all moved on and start looking ahead. You might not agree with me but the dream is over (for this season anyway)

Bring on the Christmas Party!!!!!

Exactly Bridge, we were speaking with George Borg in the bar after the game, he put things into perspective, when he said that the team is even more determined to catch Canvey and have a run in the Trophy. The more we dwell on it and feel sorry for ourselves the harder it will be to pick ourselves up for some important games ahead. Lets thrash little Arseley, have a good old knees up at the Christmas Party on Thursday, then beat Hendon next Saturday! Its over, we were cheated, the ref is one bent crook, but lets move on.

Onwards and upwards is the only course of action to take in these circumstances. Obvioulsy everyone is extremely pi**ed off with what went on, on Saturday but there is nothing we can do about it. To keep dwelling on it is a waste on energy that could be better spent on supporting the team in the up and coming matches. At the end of the day it would have been fantastic to have been in the hat for the 3rd round but it wasn't to be. The players can now concentrate on the league and trophy.

Onwards and upwards, our glass is always half full!

Agree with everything said in a move on sense.

Mark Palios was at the game - so if there is punishment, & it is too stiff - well he was there - & he must have seen what when on like the rest of us - so we should - (we had better!) - get off lightly!

LoL you lot are so sad i know the club is like over now coz you got knocked out of the second round of the cup but cheer up lads. We have [***!!***] refs but we dont bitch for DAYS about it. Also whats this crap "proved the gulf bettween league and non-league footbal is getting smaller and smaller" utter bollox to be honest lads when we where in div 1 we where beating premiership teams for fun but it did not mean the gulf was closing it just ment that either we played our socks off in a rare game or the oppostion where rattled and werent up for it. I admit we had teh rub of the green on saturday but seeings how we hit the post 3 times it could have been a lot more than 1-0 so head up lads and get on with running the club and that will be the only way you will ever get out of the [***!!***] league you are in.

anyway....we're fed up with your drivel so fck off back to scouseland and leave us alone....oh yeah...one last thing...

of course we're upset...we're used to winning...unlike you lot who have got used to losing......keep playing like that TL and we'll be passing you on the way up...that wasn't a one off....we outplayed you and we'd do it again...by the way...I've watched the video of that game a dozen times now and you still were poor and you still were lucky and the ref was still a crook....and.......

Palios still had a smug look on his face....you know...Palios..??...the FA's CEO....a Tranmere fan...the refs boss....

What a [***!!***] [****!!****] you are TL. As you can see most of us are now over this and looking forward to winning the league and getting to the conference. Also, we're gonna win the Trophy whilst we're at it! Now, please do tell me, what are you going to win this season??

I would be worried if I was you, your team were terrible as Unc said and you and your manager\players know that you should never have won, still we won't dwell.

Now do us all a favour and pi** off onto your own forums and plan your next heist. [***!!***] joker.
