Enfield Town v Billericay Town

After yesterdays close encounter at New Lodge, everyone will be looking forward to our FA Cup replay with Billericay at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, Donkey Lane, on Tuesday evening, 7.45pm.

The FA Cup is very special, and every season it generates great interest and expectation, amongst football followers up and down the country, and provides opportunity, for non-league clubs, such as our own, to enjoy a cup-run in the early stages of the competition, and secure a much needed share of the available prize money, if we progress.

An FA Cup replay, under the lights at Donkey Lane, produces a unique atmosphere all of its own. Remember the epic battle we had last season with Eastbourne Borough, which went to extra time and penalties.

We did well to come away with a well deserved draw from our visit to New Lodge yesterday, but we face a tough replay and will have to be at our very best to win and go through to the next qualifying round.

Brad and his players need our full vocal support in this match. Let's join the Enfield Ultra's, in creating plenty of noise, and let our guys know we are behind them every step of the way.

See you there.

Really enjoyed my trip up to the QE2 Stadium last night. Great atmosphere and support for Town throughout the whole match by the Enfield Ultras (well done everyone), who really spurred our boys on in a very competitive, tricky cup replay. Both teams had their chances, but Town kept their composure, and deservedly went on to break the deadlock, win the tie, and progress to the Second Qualifying Round, where we will entertain Ipswich Wanderers, a week on Saturday.

Top marks to Brad and our players. We have had a difficult start to the season, due to injuries to key players, but we are turning the corner, things are coming together, results are improving, and we are gradually starting to look like the force we were last season. Keep it up guys!
