Additional Forums?

Hi,

 

Thanks to NL UK, we can now have additional forums here - I just wondered what forums others would like within the Canvey section???

 

Possible suggestions are:-

 

Match Predictions

Announcements

Man of the Match

Canvey Exclusive Fans Forum

 

I'm sure that others can think up better ideas. The forums can be temporary or permanent.

 

Currently this forum is members only - we can have a guest forum, and a members only one - or we can just stick with the one, and not have any others.

As a starter, I would prefer a seperate Canvey supporter forum plus a guest forum.

A prediction forum should be solely for Canvey supporters.

whilst i agree with vics formula are we sure of the implications.. i mean if the canvey fans only forum is visible on a view only basis to everyone presumably ... someone has to gall to post something like 'well played canvey' or 'the new stand is good' or we should have won 4 nil, or ' has jeff k. lost a few pounds' etc etc,.. then the i hate canvey but cant help going on and on about them brigade realise they cant go bonkers about a canvey fan er.. supporting canvey there is a chance a few of em could possibly explode.. i'd check with the legal advisor first .. oh hang on thats you isnt it vic.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> ..seriously tho could we have a few guests on the C.I. only forum,?

Regarding guest visitors to the CI only forum. Could it not be done by invitation only from the members of the CI forum?

 

If this could be done I'd be pleased to get an invitation, I haven't conversed with Vic for ages.

hey H.W... yes i would like to see a C.I. forum but with invited guests as a lot of people dont post stuff now due to getting dissed of by non canvey fans.. but it would be great if we could have in there the likes of yourself, gazza (he has to be there), dave.gnfc, simon.btfc, jimjam,.. you get my drift of the kind of mob involved and i think most people would agree on who they would like in and who they wouldn't.. then there could be another forum for other fans/guests opinions and anyone who wants can get involved in that.... back to my first point.. i do really think loads of canvey fans are put off by a lot of the c..p that gets dumped on here by non canvey fans and a members only type forum would get em all back...

Well I agree with what is being said ---I haven,t posted a message for over a year on this board because of all the derogatory stuff that has been allowed through from non -Canvey (fans?) I feel it would be nice to get back to chattin' about Canvey fc stuff instead of attempting to parry vindictive remarks from some people whose sole aim has been to "rubbish" the name of our club. Lets look forward to a brand new season with a few new players -- & altho Tilly, Smithy & co will be sorely missed, its the beginning of a new era at Park Lane--maybe we can win promotion this time around, who knows?

Surely this is a Canvey forum. Re naming it Canvey only forum isn’t going to stop other people posting, and who really cares anyway. This is the beauty of the internet we can all gripe about what ever we like. They have message boards as well, post cráp on their sight. Don’t limit who can and can’t post on a board!

It isn’t their fought their teams are so dull they have to talk about ours!

although man of the match etc forums could be quite cool
