Beware divers and cheats

Apparently the FA have introduced a new trial rule, from Conference level and below, that if a player is found guilty i.e. by video evidence, that they have deliberately taken a dive to get a player sent off, not only will the red card be rescinded but they will also get a 3 match ban for taking a dive.

Seems that a player in a match involving Conference club Welling has already fallen foul to this new trial rule.

Good to see the FA are at long last looking into giving sterner punishments for the cheats and squealers who will do anything they can to another player sent off.

There is absolutely no truth in the vicious rumour that Tom Daley is signing as a player for any non-league football team.
