Reading Rebel
Apparently the FA have introduced a new trial rule, from Conference level and below, that if a player is found guilty i.e. by video evidence, that they have deliberately taken a dive to get a player sent off, not only will the red card be rescinded but they will also get a 3 match ban for taking a dive. Seems that a player in a match involving Conference club Welling has already fallen foul to this new trial rule. Good to see the FA are at long last looking into giving sterner punishments for the cheats and squealers who will do anything they can to another player sent off. Ian
About time. I wish they would also issue a directive that anyone waving imaginary cards receives a mandatory yellow. The referee can caution the player currently for unsporting behaviour but it rarely happens.
epicrebel
It's good they've done this, but the higher the clubs are the more the diving.
Glover
A certain No10 for Hitchin would have taken the long walk if the ref had applied this rule. Pity the ref's aren't consistent. Diving is certainly something that is creeping in at our level.
staines_rebel_Jr
This rule has been in place since the start of the season. Surprised most people are only hearing about it now.

Well I have to confess to not knowing about this rule, as it had not been communicated to us or the players from the FA.
Big J R
There is absolutely no truth in the vicious rumour that Tom Daley is signing as a player for any non-league football team.
HorshamRebel
The guys on Talk Sport were discussing it back at the beginning of August saying it was about time, but it could open a hornets nest with 100% proof required to stop counter claims (at the highest levels)
