cup of tea Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 I thought it was a good game. Both teams trying to play football. Unfortunate goal we let in but these things happen. Think we had the better of the game but couldn't get the winner. Take 1-1 against the team who is top of the league currently. Think the ref probably has had better games then that but never mind. The Hatted Urchin Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 Good game today. Thought we were the better side. Knighty needs to work on his 1v1s but his pelanty taking is pretty damn sweet. Be good to try and get some momentum going in the next few games now. Just a word for the ref as well. It doesn't usually get said, especially at this level, but I thought he had a game. Made a lot of decisions but was happy to let the game flow (well past 5pm) as well. If he can start making right decisions he'd be up the leagues like a shot. Enjoyed that the Eastside was noiser than usual Also noticed that a group of kids bought scarfs at half time and were chanting red army well after the final whistle.
