Histon Game

Be interested to see the outcome of Saturday's match between Histon and the league leaders, unbeaten Chippenham.

Histon are usually better at home but boy, are they going to have to be, given their shortcomings last night .

I would have thought they would have preferred an easier team, to follow on from a 7-1 thrashing !

I've only seen the two home matches, and what a contrast.... great to see, but how have we managed going from not being able to hit a barn door with a banjo against Frome to scoring five in the first half last night.

Let's hope last nights result fires up some enthusiasm and the attendance improves for the next home match (Poole Sat 29/8).

Regarding attendances I thought 270 wasn't too shabby last night, although not sure there were physically 270 bodies in the ground (season tickets count whether you're there or not). If we can get a win at Hitchin Town which we're capable of doing then I'd hope for 300+ v Poole Town.

I agree with jonblack, same eleven should start at Hitchin.

That would be fine but every game we pick up injuries. Two more last night by the sounds of it.

Yep Gary MacDonald (knee) and Nathan Webb (back) both had to come off due to injuries.

Will know more about their chances of playing after training tomorrow night and also whether Eddie can return to the squad for this weekend.

We are hopeful that Jake Parsons, Craig Scott and Billy Jeffreys will be fit for the following weekend but none will be ready for Hitchin.

Charlie Mpi will also be eligible for the Poole game onwards.

And don't forget the dog!
