Looking forward to seeing the Team continue and improve from saturdays second have performance against Stratford.

Hope to see more improvement all round and that our shooting boots have been found.

Really good performance from the team tonight from (almost   ;) ) start to finish.

The players looked really up for it from the start, with excellent team work and work rate being rewarded with some top draw finishing from Putts and Hatchet.

Good confidence builder for the much harder games to come starting with a real tough one at Hitchin on Saturday.

Great to see football being played on the ground the passing by our talented team was superb.

Gary.s presence and barking out orders oh we have missed that.

Thought Adam had his best game for a long time Natham was putting himself about before getting injured Warren getting stronger he must be exhausted after that game.

Must be one of the strongest subs bench we have had for a long time.

And what superb well constructed goals scored, well done Hatchet and Putts.

First half was as good a 45 minutes as we have had under this management (except for the first 30 seconds .

!).....................and in the whole game 7 goals with no Ed and no Charlie Mpi. Real selection dilemma when all available............a nice problem to have in a way.

And Histon were not a bad side, although not great--we were just so up for it and so much went right that often goes wrong, including bits of luck here and there.

MOTM has to be between the two hatrick men equally shared.

Repeat performances needed by the whole squad over the next few weeks !

I think you're right Graham.

Although Histon didn't look great, I think we were really up for it with our link up play and clinical finishing was just too much for Histon to handle.

Hitchin gave us a bit of a drubbing on their ground last season so a massive test for the team on Saturday.

Now we've got a good win under our belts, it would be nice to think they we can go on a run but with Hitchin, Poole, Chesham and Cirencester to follow, I think we are going to have sterner tests coming up, than what Histon brought to us.

Noticed Andy Leese [Chesham manager] in the crowd last night. One thing he won't of learned from the game, is about our strike force,as our hat-trick heroes won't be playing against Chesham !

While this isn't ideal from a continuity point of view, how great it is that we have the calibre of players of Ed Smith and Charlie Mpi to come in.

Hope Nathan Webb's injury isn't too bad, he was having very good game until he had to go off.

That seems to be the story of our season so far, ie, soon as we get our players playing well, they get hurt and find themselves on Super Kev's treatment table !

If we ever get a fully fit squad we should be dangerous !

Bedworth seem to be challenging for that honour at the moment, 17 goals conceded in 4 games.

Great all round team performance last night, it was like all the potential for goals in the two Saturday games was released in one go. The thing we have really missed so far is a bit of composure when in and around the box, and also the ability to just take a proper hard shot towards the goal. Saw both of those last night and hope it will continue. Tough games coming up but if we can carry through the sort of play from last night we should be ok. Well done to Scott and Lewis on their hat tricks.
