FF News
On Tuesday Woking FC set up a Crowdfunding site to fundraise for Scott Rendell’s medical and club costs following his unfortunate injury last week. It is to enable Rendell to have peace of mind, get the best possible treatment and for the club to continue to progress. The response through Facebook and Twitter has been fantastic. This is lower league football at its best! In 24 hours just under £6000 has been donated by fans, board members and players at the club. Beyond that, former Woking players including Adam Doyle, Harry Arter and Joe McNerney have contributed and even further afield supporters of other clubs like Luton and Cambridge have chipped in, plus an England International. There will be a further bucket collection at the Altrincham game and the Crowdfunding site to donate is here: www.gofundme.com/byw7w9mc Source: www.wokingfc.co.uk Source
