FF News
Woking have confirmed that the injury received by Scott Rendell during the first half of Saturday’s match at Tranmere Rovers will necessitate immediate surgery. This will unfortunately mean the influential striker will miss the remainder of the 2015/16 season, which is a massive blow to the club. Meanwhile, after announcing his retirement from the game in May, defender Adam Newton has re-signed for the Cards. The former West Ham United and Peterborough United man made 177 appearances for Woking after signing for Garry Hill in the summer of 2011 following his release by Luton Town. But the London cabbie decided he wanted to devote more time to his wife and two children. However, he has now made a U-turn and has re-signed for the club Source: www.footballconference.co.uk Source
