Rock bottom time I'm afraid to say. Barely a shot on goal, none on target. Injuries apart, the players seem to be trying hard enough but lack a cohesive team effort. Hendon were a useful side but we matched them for 44 minutes, albeit with few chances at either end. Second half, again a lack of game plan, crosses were wasted time after time. Goals were conceded due to mistakes at the back when pressure should have been put on the visitors. It's not looking good and it's difficult to see where or how it can be improved. The one plus point is Matt Jones, now he does look like a player who is going somewhere, let's hope it starts to rub off on the rest of the team.

St.albans are a very average team! have been since back end of last season and have never been a big club.mid table team all the time!so yes probably worst team ever but never been great anyway!fans at present want instant success but not going to get it!must realise this quickly.

 

 

We sack steve cook but dont replace him with an outside figure who could see where the problems lie and sort things out!steve castle was already there when things were bad and was number two to steve cook!!So why does the chairman think that will help?Maybe because they need him,pase scheme etc..???

 

We sign average players too big for there boots!There seems to be a lack of team spirit?who's sorting that out?been like that for ages....Where is the club going off the pitch?no money.....chairman clueless!

One other thing,is there a team in the league doing really well with a bunch of youngsters playing for them?And players who are past it and there to pick up the doller!
