Karen Browne
Snobs Leverstock FC need to find a new ground if they want to progress. Its no different to clubs having cricket played on their ground. Leverstock have a written agreement with the SSML that all midweek games in August will be away, its not their fault that work at Bedford was not finished. britman and Uncle T
Munchkin
Gary mentioned it at the AGM hence my comment. Daly is an excellent player, movement and hold up play is very good.
Munchkin
Its no different to clubs having cricket played on their ground. Leverstock have a written agreement with the SSML that all midweek games in August will be away, its not their fault that work at Bedford was not finished. To be honest the effort and time it took Leverstock Green to get their floodlights you can hardly blame them for agreeing to this requirement with the local residents. Whether you like it or not the houses were there before the floodlights, so it is not unreasonable or unexpected to have objections. Rebadiah Hongfield
Sending off after only 7 minutes totally ruined the game - Southall FC excellent with 10 players for practically the whole match. Yeah you will not want to miss the return leg - for sure Great support from both sets of fans I heard it was a great game by everyone who attended, bit of an odd comment to say it was ruined, it sounded like a cracker!! Rebadiah Hongfield
Any reason why Levvy and Bedford did not play this week ? Crash back down to earth for Welwyn GC. It really was, I made the trip there after work as I wanted to check out the London Colney side who are expected to do big things this season. Welwyn players tried to play to be fair to them, but need to learn that they might have to play ugly for certain games in this league. It was too pretty at times and they got found out against a much more superior team. London Colney lived up to the hype, they were well-organised and I was impressed with them, on and off the ball. As for Welwyn, blame lies with the management on this one. We'll see if the lesson has been learnt by fisher when Welwyn have their next fixture against a half decent team in this league. BigDogCol
148 at WGC last night. Great attendence for a newly promoted side on a Wednesday night or indeed any fixture in the SSML! My 1st visit to the ground and was impressed. Not sure what to make of WGC just yet but London Colney look as solid and as organised as last season. BigDogCol
Hope you brought a programme Didn't see any on sale. Had a nice pint of Abbot though. TAKE NOTE STOTFOLD! Buy a barrel of beer, two cans is not sufficient for a crowd. The gaffa did take me around the committee room showing me all the old photos from his playing days. Couldn't find any of you though Karen? What gives?

Karen Browne
Why would he bring a programme with him?? Its a new idea we are trying out - spectators to bring their own programme, saves on printing costs and thus we can fill some brown envelopes Rebadiah Hongfield
OD's
I see Hoddesdon are taking their time putting a match report for the FC Broxbourne game. Maybe Broxbourne deserved to win and they are finding it hard to admit it.

Rebadiah Hongfield
I know it was sent over Wednesday but we may have some committee members away on holiday. It has to pass committee member's approval? Maybe it starts out as a non-biased, honest match report and then they all change it.
Karen Browne
I'm sure the report will be included in their match programme this evening
Savagebee
Bedford v Leverstock Green was off due to Bedford's clubhouse still under construction and game could not be reversed due to Leverstock Green unable to have home midweek games in August (agreement with local residents) Snobs Leverstock FC need to find a new ground if they want to progress. The flats that back onto Hanwell Town FC were there before we had floodlights put up. We play games in the summer, in August in the evening with no probs from the locals. The people living around Leverstock Green FC seem to have a lot of say regarding Leverstock Green FC thats all im saying and thats why i called Leverstock Green FCs local residents snobs. If Leverstock Green FC had a big game would they have to ask the locals how many people would be allowed in to the ground? Good luck for the season.
