Any thoughts..predictions.

I see that Hendon ($6 to win the Premiership) were held to a 1-1 draw Away by Gray's Athletic($17) after trailing for a lot of the match.

A couple of good omens for tonight's match with my local Ice Hockey team(CBR Brave) knocking off the Competition leaders 6-3 yesterday and my local Basketball team(Canberra Gunners) getting up in overtime to win by a point...throw in a win by Liverpool..and evreything points to a Town win over Hendon tonight my time.

Check out the photo in the article..thats me in the red and gold jacket and baseball cap with my son to my left..the librarian looking girl between me and the goal referee is an avid fan to say the least. An opposition player was severely checked and collapsed to the ice clutching his side(and was assisted from the ice and didn't play the rest of the game) when she was heard to yell(and yes she can yell).."Get Up Bitch! Can't you take a hit?"..It was then that she was abused by an opposition player. Ahh Ice Hockey...brings out the best in people!

Thanks Seemgee..I seem to be haunted by 1-0 losses of late.

Losing by a penalty shot to one of the competition favourites in an Away game suggets that Town may not be far off the mark.

from the Hendon site:

Hendon buried their league bogey against Enfield Town with a 1-0 win this evening, despite playing for much of the second half with ten men. The result was the first time in seven attempts that the Greens have beaten the Towners in a league match - with their visitors having won the previous six league meetings.

The only goal came in the 22nd minute when Aaron Morgan converted from the penalty spot having been fouled by Claudiu Vilcu.

Unfortunately, it was Morgan who was needlessly sent off early in the second half for an off the ball incident with Vilcu, but the Greens held firm despite plenty of Enfield pressure - with Joe Wright not having a save to make.

The result moves the Greens up to second in the table overnight.

A better display by the Town last night but still playing like the players have not been introduced to each other. Poor Corey having to beat 2 men every time he gets the ball must be looking forward to Bobby coming back so that he gets more space.
