cup of tea
Well, we're off to a winning start a bit quicker than we did last season! Hornchurch didn't click in the way we did pre-season but the good thing was the fact that we kept trying for the entire match and it was that determination that (eventually) turned the game around for us. Best chances went to Cray, especially in the first half - they managed to convert one of those chances. Big game now on Wednesday as Romford took a beating today and will be looking to bounce back. I think that teams are all going to come at us hard as apparently we're favourites to win the league (???) so it could be a long season and we will need to show the resilience we showed today. cup of tea
Personally see Alex as more of a full back than a centre-half but he did okay and to be honest was just pleased to see him on the pitch.
The Hatted Urchin
He was pretty tidy in midfield during that little stint last season as well. Is there anywhere he can't play?
