As a tranmere supporter who has lived in Hornchurch, and works in Laindon, I'd like to say how pleasant it was to attend a match at such a friendly club. And to apologise on behalf of the Northern contingent who think anyone south of Watford is a cockney.

 

Mind you, Birkenhead is not in scouseland either.... may as well call us taffies, as we are also near to Wales.

 

Anyway, you played as well as any 2nd division side I've seen (apart from QPR who are really very good)and I wish you the best of luck in winning the Ryman.

 

And hopefully you can prove those tranmere supporters wrong when they were singing 'we'll never play you again' - I hope you will.
