I think the season after getting promoted, the club, supporters, players, managers etc are all on a high and generally that's carried over into the new season and reflected in results.

This is our second season in the Southern Premier division and nearly half of our squad is made up of new players and until the real battle commences we really don't know how those new players are going to settle into a new club.

With the quality of the new teams entering the division and with most teams strengthening, it's certainly looking to be tougher this season than last.

If you add into the mix that we could always, as Biggleswade did last season, suffer from 'second season syndrome' it's probably only natural that some supporters will go into the new season with a little bit of the fear factor that it could all go belly up just as we are about to move into our new ground.

Personally, I think we've got nothing to fear and confidently predict that we will finish comfortably mid table or above.

I found it difficult to choose between Adam Martin and Searsy.

Adam Martin has been away and has only played a game and a half in pre-season and is Searsy still recovering from his injuries?

I certainly don't think Wazza should play from the start. He needs to be brought on nice and gently before he's unleashed.

Funny enough I did but opted for Adam Martin because he's that bit fitter and more likely to get a goal than Adrian.

When Adrian gets fully fit then that's a different matter.

Originally I put Searsy in over Adam but changed my mind because after playing most of the game on Monday I thought he might have a reaction from his injury.

Just listened to the pre-match Frome interview with Bakes and Unders.

Was just wondering, if Bakes struggles to reach the microphone, as I never seem to be able to hear him properly. Thought it was my old laptop but now that's updated, still have the same problem.

Am I the only one, missing out on our hero's analysis?

Can someone please put a cushion on the chair for the next interview ! lol !

Have you checked the batteries on your hearing aid 3spirit   ;)

Perhaps the mics fixed at the height of Unders and they forgot the stool that Bakes stands on

Seriously, the sound quality is a bit low but on full volume I can hear it ok.

I can always hear the interviewer [John] and Unders clear as a bell but Bakes always sounds like he's doing a Rob Brydon little man impression or that he's in another room ! :D

I can hear him loud and clear. Too much painting has affected your hearing 3 spirit.

It hasn't affected my hearing but it's affected my brain ! ha ha !

30 years of painting is enough to send anyone dood-a-ally ! lol !

View from a Frome Town Supporter He expects a big improvement in his teams performance this season.

He says three of there best players from last season have left in Cooper Smith and Tonkin plus another three.

Thirteen have signed up again plus one new player with Southern League experience.

There striking duo of Thomson and new signing Sibbick are not available till 23/08/15.

Midfield looks promising but lacks a hard tackler also no width experienced defender Jack Vallis is suspended apart from a another signing in Gardiner

who lacks premier league experience.

But we are at home get behind the team lets get off to a good start.

All the best to the mangement and squad for 2015/16.
