A Rebel and a Saint
Some of you may know that John cannot commit to Rebels Radio for the coming season, so we're looking for a co-commentator to partner Adrian at home games (and possibly away games) this season. Ian has kindly offered to do a few commentaries at away games, and I have too, but we're looking to put this out as a work experience opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in sports media. If you know anyone who is in this position, please pass it on and if they are interested, get them to contact us through the Trust channels. All the details are at www.sloughtownsupporterstrust.co.uk/Rebels-Radio

A Rebel and a Saint
All volunteers from the fans welcome too (as long as what is said is suitable for broadcast!), so just speak to Adrian to coordinate any dates you'd be able to do.
Stuntman Mark
Shame to lose John, he's done an excellent job on Rebel's Radio over the last season.
GlenSTFC
Yes agree John has done a superb job and sounded very professional, so a big loss. Anyone know why he can't commit anymore?
RebelDelaney
It would be good to get someone like John who had an unbiased view of the game this made it good with Adrian being that great Rebel he is with his biased views of the Rebels game shock horror. Brighton on holiday
Apart from not being able to make many home games, no real idea about football tactics, not being able to recognise our players and being drunk on Saturdays, then yes im the perfect candidate

Rebel Kay
On a serious note, perhaps contact the Radio and TV School at Beaconsfield to see if they have any likely candidates.
A Rebel and a Saint
Thanks Kay, have done that this evening.
3spirit
On a serious note, perhaps contact the Radio and TV School at Beaconsfield to see if they have any likely candidates. What a good idea,Kay. If not successful, another avenue may be to ask Radio Wexham Hospital staff,if they would be interested. You seem to get young, enthusiastic, budding out commentators there but whether they know anything about football,is another matter but may be worth a try. rebelade
Looks like home games are where helpers are needed so anyone can pop in and have a go, alternatively if someone doesn't want to be on air then they could help with the computer/twitter feed/website viewing so I can follow the action on field.
