I dont think that we were lucky on the second half showing. To score 4 goals in 45 minutes illustrate that we more than matched Burnham's display in the first half.

 

How much influence did the wind have in that game. It was cold and blowing into the town's face in the first half. Obviously things reversed second half. I also thought that it dropped a little in the second half.

 

All in all a spirited second half display and well worth the 3 points.

I'm sorry Steph but we didn't really get going until 15 minutes into the second half. So it was 4 goals in 30 minutes and I think that as we don't normal score that rapidly we were lucky that we found a gear that got the ball to the forwards and they were able to do something with it.

As for the wind you're right it was just about when Bubbles turned-up so maybe the wind was a deciding factor?

Burnham must find it unbelievable that they didn't get anything out of that game - all credit to them for their spirited performance.

 

I don't think we were lucky though - the lads put in a determined second half performance and deserved what they got.
