GlenSTFC
All the best George, I suppose it was inevitable with his location and the pecking order.
Ian
As Sue said, not just a good player but a thoroughly lovely guy. He always took time to speak with people. Good decision, George. You are too good as a player to be sat on anyone's bench. Best of luck at your new club. Ian.

Neil Baker
George is one of the nicest lads that we have had the pleasure to manage, he comes from a great family, and I have a great deal of time for his Dad and his Grandad. We gave George as long as he wanted to make a decision, he rang me before pre season stating Winchesters interest and asking what he should do, as managers we could have lied to him and told him he would play every week etc but that is not what we are about as managers, and in reality we had a conversation with him at the end of the season saying that he needed to improve on his fitness that he had at the back end of the season, and if he didn't he would probably fall by the wayside. I think he has made the right decision at this stage, and I told him so. He has plenty of ability, and I really hope that he pushes on this year, I know Jon spoke to him today and said that he really needs to try and play 40 plus games this season, and he is more than capable of doing that. We are always happy to give the likes of George opportunities, as he does have bundles of natural ability, and his attitude is first class, he is also well liked in the changing room if for being rather dippy He will be missed but I am sure that we will see him at various points in the season to watch games, and I will watch on with interest at how he does at Winchester City.
