A shared thought for the day......

Just a light hearted way at looking forward to our day out.

 

 

Come on Gravesend, now the day has come,

To give the supporters what they want, lots of fun.

 

Its FA cup day, the day will be brill,

Hopefully full of surprises, and lots of thrill,

 

Children all excited, they’re of to see the fleet,

Wearing club colours, and looking very neat

 

The drummer will be there, making lots of noise,

Along with the crowd, cheering on the boys.

 

Banners and flags will be all around the ground,

Smiling happy faces are there to be found.

 

As kick off time approaches, the tension’s building up,

This really is the 2nd round of the FA cup.

 

All the hard work, has now been done behind the scene,

So spare a thought for the players, and the back room team.

 

Lets hope that all the players give us their best,

For playing Notts County, now that’s some test.
