Lost sponsorship?

Looking at the MyFC site, they have a pledge bank up and running to raise some money to sponsor another football club when the current sponsorship with STFC runs out.

Unless I'm reading it wrong it looks like we are going to lose MyFC as our away strip sponsors for next season.

Can anyone from the club shed some light on this?

That is to donate to their next sponsorship, as in NEXT Season with Slough Town

This is one of the many sub groups they set up to help put with paying for things.

For example, they set one up to pay for the special shorts that our injured players needed a couple of seasons a go

HR I think you need re-read it.

'No specific club in focus through this appeal'

'When business is done with STFC'

The pledge was started long before the negotiations with Steve began, they did not know if they would be sponsoring us for the coming season...and still do not as the negotiations are still going on...so they could not specify at the time that it would be for the benefit of STFC specifically.

Just to clarify the situation.

Negotiations on a new sponsorship deal with STFC have concluded and myfc are voting on the proposal to sponsor the club for the 2015/16 season.

Voting finishes on 26th June and the result will be made known on the myfc site, I will post it on here so that any non members are aware of the result.

There are NO other clubs being considered for sponsorship next season and in a recent vote 95% of the members voted to pursue a new deal with STFC.

Really RR? Maybe you should actually check the pledge page that has a creation date of the end of January in the sign up chart, the Facebook post sharing it is dated 11th June.

It's good of Nick to post an update, as technically votes like this are meant to be confidential to members only until they end.

Yep, you're right ARAAS, my mistake.

As already said, it was much appreciated from Glover. Cleared the air from any potential misunderstanding.
