Steve, is it possible Bob blew the budget and left later chairmen in a difficult situation?

 

I'm just guessing really, it seems to be the result each time Bob leaves a club.

It's possible Laz, but it just didn't go that way, Bob did have a high budget but when he was here but he had nothing to do with the season after when it all went tits up.

 

The chairman stepped down, a new one came in Bob left at the close of the season and handed the squad to Colin Lippiatt. Colin made some awful signings and the board gave him too much time and it was too late by the time they fired him. That's why I would not pin it on him, he also got us some cash with Fitz Hall around £55k so he did pay up for some of that budget.

 

But then I imagine we probably had a better experience of John Kendall than you chaps as well?

JK used to be in the bar until a minute to three then he was in there again as the ref blew the final whistle. Enough said on the subject.
