ProgEd
Martin Tuohy has decided to join Canvey after five seasons (one ruined by injury) as an Urchin. He played in 201 games and scored 79 goals. Only three players have scored more for us in senior football. Jim says "I wish him well for the time he's been with me."
Eastside Urchin
Gutted but given good service to the club, top player, top lad,but obviously feels he needs a new challenge. At least he won't score against us in the league next season
Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
I did hear about this, but chose not to say anything until it was confirmed. It is a bit of a loss for us but with the new strikers that we have and where we as a club want to go then he wouldn't get first choice. Would only be left on the bench. Canvey, I believe, are short of a striker or two. Good luck Martin!
Eastside Urchin
I hoped he would stay but to be fair to him he probably feels a new challenge is for the best and I don't blame him. A great servant to the club and in his day one of the best goal scorers in non league at our level
Fat Tom Daley
Cheers Martin for everything. One of the most lethal strikers at the club I can remember

shrimper
sad to see the number 9 leave the bridge but well done to martin for all goals and hard work for the urchins he will go down as one of the hornchurch greats , i guess canvey couldnt beat us so now tam has rejoined them they need martin as well to be us
cup of tea
Canvey came perilously close to coming down with us - I'm assuming that getting in experienced players from us and Billericay is to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Eastside Urchin
They seem to be making solid signings
