OldTowner
What a star of the Old Club he was. Great memories. RIP
Father Jack
Genuinely sad news. Jenno was possibly the greatest central defender in Enfield Football Club's history. He was also a natural leader, and a logical choice to become the first captain of the England Semi-professional team in 1979. RIP
Tom S
Sad news. I started watching the club towards the end of Jenno's career. He may have been a bit below his best but he was still very, very good. Unfortunately he retired before I started taking photos. If there's one person I wish I'd snapped it's him.

katiej
Sad news. I started watching the club towards the end of Jenno's career. He may have been a bit below his best but he was still very, very good. Unfortunately he retired before I started taking photos. If there's one person I wish I'd snapped it's him. I have come across this forum and the posts are very heart warming. There are lots of photos of dad from his football days, so I might be able to find one for your collection. Please contact me directly. The most loved and most loathed thread made us all smile!!! Thank you for your thoughts at this time. The Jennings family.
OldTowner
The best wishes from the "new Club" are with you all. The vast majority of Town supporters are ex Enfield F C, sadly now defunct, but memories last forever and we all remember Tony with great affection. A smashing Guy and a Great footballer for the old Club. You and your family will always be very welcome at The Town. Regards and Best Wishes. Enfield United
Sincere condolences to you and your family KatieJ I didn't know Tony Personally like I've got to know the current players, I was about 15 when I first watched Enfield in 1980, and Tony stood out as a leader and fans favourite. He contributed to giving me some eternal memories including the Wembley game and FA Cup run, RIP
