staines_rebel_Jr
Seeing as there is not much happening officially in non league right now. The latest England squad selection GoalkeepersRobert Green (Queens Park Rangers), Joe Hart (Manchester City), Tom Heaton (Burnley) DefendersRyan Bertrand (Southampton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Chris Smalling (Manchester United) MidfieldersRoss Barkley (Everton), Fabian Delph (Aston Villa), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), Ryan Mason (Tottenham Hotspur), James Milner (Manchester City), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Andros Townsend (Tottenham Hotspur), Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal) ForwardsCharlie Austin (Queens Park Rangers), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Jamie Vardy (Leicester City), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal) Not so long ago Charlie Austin was playing for Kintbury Rangers (Hellenic league div one), Hungerford (Hellenic league premier) and Poole (Wessex league premier) and Jamie Vardy was playing for Stocksbridge Park Steel (Northern Premier league and div one south whilst he was there). One or both of them will most likely play in the next two international matches against Ireland (friendly) and Slovenia (qualifier match) Out of the players selected who would make your team? mine GK - Joe Hart RB - Clyne CB - Cahill CB - Smalling LB - Bertrand RM - Sterling CDM / CM - Delph CM - Henderson LM - Milner ST - Rooney (sitting behind Austin to link with midfield) ST - Austin

3spirit
An interesting thread. To be honest I'm more interested in the England Rugby training squad. This season,Premiership football has left me cold and so I'm not sure who's in form or not,so I may be a bit out of touch but I think as one game's a friendly and one game's a qualifier, you'd be experimenting with newer players in the friendly and going with experience for the qualifier. My best team out of that lot would be a 4-2-3-1 of Hart Clyne Cahill Jones Bernard Delph Mason Sterling Rooney Milner Wellbeck Although I'm not a big fan of Delph or Milner ! Gashimoto
My old school 4 4 2 would be Hart Gibbs Cahill Jagielka Clyne Milner Wiltshire Delph Walcott Rooney Wellbeck Delph being the better holding player over Henderson.
