Not so long ago Charlie Austin was playing for Kintbury Rangers (Hellenic league div one), Hungerford (Hellenic league premier) and Poole (Wessex league premier)

and Jamie Vardy was playing for Stocksbridge Park Steel (Northern Premier league and div one south whilst he was there).

One or both of them will most likely play in the next two international matches against Ireland (friendly) and Slovenia (qualifier match)

An interesting thread.

To be honest I'm more interested in the England Rugby training squad. This season,Premiership football has left me cold and so I'm not sure who's in form or not,so I may be a bit out of touch but I think as one game's a friendly and one game's a qualifier, you'd be experimenting with newer players in the friendly and going with experience for the qualifier.

My best team out of that lot would be a 4-2-3-1 of

                  Hart

Clyne  Cahill  Jones  Bernard

           Delph   Mason

   Sterling  Rooney Milner

               Wellbeck

Although I'm not a big fan of Delph or Milner !
