I think everyone knows who Lewis Putman is but the only Jeff Brown that I know of played for Burnham last season.

And Windsor. He's ok but from what he showed for us (steady Eddy but a walking booking) I'd have thought he'd struggle at your level now to be honest.

Danny Burnell leaves flackwell by sound of it. A match fit Danny burnell would be worth a good few goals at our level imho.

I guess he left because they refused promotion and he didn't want to play at step 5 again? He's still good enough for step 4 maybe not as prolific but will get a team 15-20 goals.

As far as I'm aware Danny Burnell was not wanted when Bakes and Unders took over, for obvious reasons, so not sure why he would be wanted now.

Would just go on record and say that we both have a lot of time for Danny, we made our opinion on him without properly getting to know him, however  I still think it was the right decision at the time, as I don't think he had the hunger for the game , and I think this last season has seen him regain his hunger for it, (but we have got to know him since, when he came in for a few games and just talking to him in general).

 

I think he would be the first to admit that his work and house were a contributing factor to his season the year before last, but last year scoring the goals he did for Flackwell showed his hunger and his natural ability.

 

I know where he is off too however that is not for me to say, but we are at a stage where we are fully staffed up with striking options, though I wish him the best, and am sure he will have a good season.

Well we now know that Jeff Brown is not one of our new recruits but a distinct possibility about the other name that's been rumoured.
