FITBhighlights
Thought I'd create a petition to hold finals at Selhurst to see how much support it gets! I'm jealous of all the other counties who have big finals and feel the County Cup is slowly dying It may be unlikely to happen but it's worth a try. Anyway give it a sign and share it around, you never know https://www.change.org/p/surrey-fa-hold-the-surrey-senior-cup-final-at-selhurst-park

Smudge
FITB Admire your ambition, but alas Football Clubs,do not give a monkeys about lower level Football anymore. The Surrey Senior Cup has been dead for years now,you only have to look at what teams AFC Wimbledon/Crystal Palace put out. VPCTFC
Why play it at a ground that isn't in Surrey and at a club that don't enter the competition? At least the other non-Surrey regular venue for the final, Sutton United, enter the competition. Have you asked CPFC 2010 how much they'll charge for use of their ground? I doubt they'd do it for free. And I like the way you laud Hamsphire FA for creating that 'big day out feeling' when their last final at Fratton Park drew in a massive 1,025 spectators and that's with two Conference South clubs in the final. I wonder if the gate money covered the costs involved. And Surrey Cup final attendances aren't dropping every year. They vary depending on who's in the final. Last year's was higher than the year before. The 'best' ground actually in Surrey is arguably either Kingfield or Imber Court, depending on what you're looking for in a football ground. Both regular venues for the final. Apart from that - you're spot on.

E&E Rich
In the fifties the SSC Final used to be played at Selhurst and it was roundly criticised as being out of the way unless Dulwich were in the Final, so these issues aren't new. We played there in 1954 and got less for the Final than we did for the SF and replay. If Woking are happy to host it, or Met Police for that matter, or even Sutton, then let them do it. All three of those clubs help SCFA more than Palace do.
Big J R
I could also mention a certain brand new multi-million pound stadium that will be ready after next season. Worth finkin' about ??
