Why is the AGM always held at Cow Lane

And I understand that some of the referees who live the south-east of the SSSMFL geographical area rarely attend because of the distance to travel............

Wherever you hold meetings someone is going to say it's too far to attend.

As far as I am aware the SSML has received no written requests that Tring Athletic is unacceptable.

I am sure that no matter where it is held there would be rumblings from unhappy parties.

I'm sure no-one would disagree about the facilities, but geography is obviously not one of PTG's strongest subjects as he believes one of the grounds furthest west in the SSMFL is "...fairly central..."........

Todays Bedford times and citizen again carrying a story that Ampthill have been reprieved and only Welwyn Garden city being promoted from div one, AFC Hayes relegated into prem division, i know the agm hasnt taken place, but should this be true why would Broxbourne not be promoted

I said 'fairly central' and if you look at it from a North-South perspective then it is central.

Maybe they should hold it at the Beds FA which is where the SSML are planning to live going forward

In reality, the most logical area - purely in terms of location is probably between Luton and Harpenden,which is a long way from Tring - but as you say in terms of facilities............

Car parking is not good at the Beds FA. Tring has a large carpark too.

Wouldn't say large, but certainly sizeable and good enough for the crowds they get - when half the spaces aren't taken up with squash bandits ands egg-chasers.

He has slipped up for once but won't admit it. All I'm saying is why not give another Club a look in rather than just holding the AGM at Cow Lane every year, as Patemondo said what about AFC Dunstable.
