2015/16 New clubs / Clubs leaving

MK Gallacticos were told to give it more time due to their administrative problems last season in the North Bucks league.  Our development side were awarded the points as they fielded a suspended player despite us telling them he was suspended due to being sent off playing vs our 1st team for Clean Slate.  He played all those 3 suspension games for MK Gallacticos, then they did it again when he was suspended for playing when suspended the first time.

Sounds more than just 'administrative problems' - especially if they played someone under suspension for playing whilst suspended!!

MK Gallacticos didn't get accepted due to several reasons. One of the reason which the league had advised us was due to only been running 1 year.

They were impressed with our progress in one year but had advised us to keep going another year and apply again next season once we get a bit more experienced.

With regards to playing an ineligible player, think we were a bit naive with our administration. We didn't put fake names in our match sheets unlike some of our oppositions.

Anyways, it's a learning curve for our club, it gives us the opportunity to get much more prepared for the following year and continue building our youth set up (from 4 teams to 12).

So MK Gallacticos were 'naive' for not using a fake name to play a suspended player - which by inference means they believe it was acceptable!!

No, they actually put him on the team sheet and he got booked during the game as well!

As I said they seem to be saying because other sides in the North Bucks League play suspended players (by using false names) that it was acceptable for them to play their suspended player - albeit they were 'naive' and didn't try to cover it up.

So the bottom line is that (in their first season in existence) they do not want to play by the accepted rules, which means when a player is suspended he should NOT play!!

I don't think they are saying that at all.

I believe the first offence was due to the player being under suspension after being sent off at another club. Many clubs have made this mistake and for a club in their first season it is easy to do and naive is probably right.

The 2nd offence if correct is not naive.

The last few posts are quite interesting to read.

At the end of the day, Rules are Rules.

Ignorance of the rules/laws is NO defence, as in British law.

Or to put it another way, "If you don't like the heat - Don't go in the kitchen !"

Please read carefully what was said. MK Gallacticos were naive in there overall admin of the men's side. Like 'Munchin' mentioned we made an error of playing a player whilst on suspension. A common mistake made by a lot of new teams. But that was our lesson learnt.

The 'fake' playing of players was not something we encourage. But just wanted to mention is as it seems to unfortunately be done by many teams we've faced.
