Recommended Posts

After Today's game against Berkhamsted which Harefield won 1-0 finishing with 9 men !

Manager Phil Granville announced he was leaving to take up the post of Hanwell Town Manager.

Timing could have been better but we wish him all the best and good luck in his new challenge.

Have I read correctly that former Oxhey Jets Manager (short stint) D.Tilbury has gone as assistant? Could be a classy move that, he will be looking forward to linking up with Timmy Inch and Ian Bywater, as well as using his connections to bring back some other Oxhey stars.... maybe a certain PUTMAN!!

Would like to see T.Smith and T.Kennedy back at the club.

Also Armitt, Beardsworth and Killer would be very good signings for any club at Step 4 level.

A big season for L.Putman next season?

He never played with T.Kennedy or Armitt, but had great relationships with Terry, Beardsmore and Kiler during his time at Oxhey as a player. Him and Putman were also inseparable in the changing room and behind most of the jets banter in their successful 12/13 campaign. Could be exciting times ahead savage.

Hope so.

Expecting a few Harefield players to jump ship.

Where do you think Putman will end up next season then?
