littlehampton
Another Saturday, another BIG match, and another BIG team performance needed by the Town. Today Town travel over to Rookery Hill to play East Thurrock United in our penultimate league fixture of the season. Since our home loss to the Rocks back in December, Town have shown excellent form and delivered some outstanding results, particularly away from home, which has seen us steadily climb the RPL table into the play-off zone. East Thurrock are a good side, and will be disappointed with their own recent run of results. It will be another very competitive, close match this afternoon, and Town will need to play out of their skins for the whole match, take chances, and keep a very tight rein on Rocks prolific striker Sam Higgins, who is having another fine season. Best of luck to Brad and the boys. Let's get out there and do the business guys. Good luck everyone! 'COME ON YOU TOWN'
lovely stuff
Will be tough conditions..Sunny/Windy/Hard bouncy pitch.,Those are the sort of things you have to deal with around play-off time..Am confident we have the character to deal with it. littlehampton
HT: East Thurrock 0-0 Enfield TownNo goals in the first half and every bit as close as expected. Town have been a good second half team in many games this season, let's hope that is the case today.

littlehampton
Full Time: East Thurrock 1-1 Enfield Town Phew, what a nail-biting finish! Real shame about the late penalty and red card, but a precious away point for Town this afternoon, against one of our bogey teams, and with relegated Witham visiting us next Saturday, we should, hopefully, clinch our place in the play-off finals. Who would have believed that at the start of the season. Well done everyone....we're almost there!! Let's have your own thoughts on the match, our performance, and the result. lovely stuff
Did well to get out of the game with a point..Our whole season could have been put to bed by a very erratic and unpredictable refereeing performance today..Had we lost the game or Grays won, that would have taken things out of our own hands for the last game. Losing 18 games hasn't helped, even though the majority were at the start of the season.
Tom S
so ricky will be suspended for next game? cant be complacent next week. Suspension normally starts 14 days after the red card which would mean play-off final or start of next season. I'm not sure if there are any special rules that apply in the run up to the play offs. 1F in Enfield
An excellent outcome. We have the choice of going to the play offs in our own hands. I wouldn't have asked for more going into yesterday's game. Well done Brad and the boys. COYT!
SeasideTowner
Absolutely robbed by a complete clown of a referee and linesman. We seem to be getting more than our fair share of them lately. Conspiracy ?
lovely stuff
Losing 18 games hasn't helped, even though the majority were at the start of the season. But our immense effort to win 23 games (and as a result) having our own fate in our hands with 2 games to go, could have been all came to nothing because of a referree that i feel was not up to the intensity of the game yesterday and virtually controlled the final result of the game with random decisions. 1F in Enfield
Gabriel suspended for 1 game from 02-05-2015 so would miss play off final if it happens.

Enfield United
One game at a time is the cliché and that's been Bradleys consistent motto in this run in. It's in our hands and it feels great going into the last game that way. But still a job to do, only complacency or a fantastic Witham performance will beat us
1F in Enfield
I totally agree one game at a time and what a game Saturday will be. A real chance for the supporters to stand up and be counted. Let's get the record attendance for the season!
theessexboy
All the best for Satuday from Rookery Hill. It ain't been a bad season for both our clubs after what we went through last season eh. Must say your fans were brilliant at R Hill, a credit to your club. Don't really want to loose you, always look forward to our games, (prob coz we normally beat you ). Personally thought we were a bit unfortunate not to have beaten you again on Sat. Your keeper was excellent, kept you in it in the first half. Some strange refereeing decisions, but I felt they evened themselves out over the 90. See you next season (or maybe not ).
